I could not be more satisfied with this Hykolity 6” LED Recessed Ceiling Light/Flush Mount package! I not only replaced 9 recessed ceiling bulbs, but also 3 other fixtures in my home that had light fixtures I didn’t care for! Having both options in the same box was truly fantastic.
The package included everything needed for the installing into a recessed can light with normal bulb base or to wire straight in as a complete fixture replacement. The fixture is about 7 inches in diameter. The small opaque dome is made of flexible plastic but isn’t too thin where it cracks or breaks under flex. It just fits in, and turn counter clockwise to secure it. The rest of the fixture is white and feels strong yet lightweight
Installing the light in either method was extremely easy. The instructions provided are very basic but tell the story fine.
If installing into recessed lighting, you just remove any bulb in your existing fixture, wire up the new LED disk to the provided light bulb base adapter, and screw it in like a normal bulb. Then you find spots for the springs to grab hold of inside the recessed can, and you’re all set!
If installing as a complete fixture, you won’t need the light bulb base adapter or the springs and you can just wire the disk straight to the wires in the box in your wall/ceiling. There are stickers on the backside of the disk that you will removed to reveal mounting holes depending on the size or your electrical box. Very easy to understand. Twist off the dome cover, screw in the provided screws into the mounting holes, replace dome cover!
The level of brightness is superb! The color of light is white, which is great as I was done with the dull yellow of bulbs. I couldn’t be happier with this set of fixtures. I used all 12 with amazing results.
*I purchased this product with my own funds under an agreement with the manufacturer to receive a partial promotional refund in exchange for my completely honest and unbiased feedback in this review. My rating of the product had no bearing on the promotion and I was not told or encouraged to give a positive review. The product earned my rating on its own accord regardless of the arrangement.

When painting the ceilings in my kitchen and dining room, I wanted to upgrade the 20+ year old incandescent can lights. My contractor recommended these lights as they are dimmable and had a warm bright light.
I am very happy with the look and durability of these lights. I’m sure that they are more energy efficient than my old lights … but with the price of energy going up it is hard to tell!
