I love Jonathan JYL lamps, and bought several when I remodeled my home. Unfortunately, one of the beautiful clear glass ones was knocked off the table on Day Two and didn’t fare as well with the new hardwood floors as with the old carpet. I bought this to replace it and was skeptical about the resin, but it has some heft to it and looks like marble (but doesn’t break!) The little bulbs are a plus and give more light than you’d think from their size.

After searching for the “perfect” lamp, I bought two of these beauties for my bedroom to match the new decor I’ve been putting together. Despite what others are saying, the shade is a true WHITE – just maybe not as cool-toned as they might like, but they’re NOT off-white or beige looking. The lamp is not too big, not too small. While the bulbs are ok, I bought daylight bulbs to get that “blue light” look.
I also reached out to the manufacturer to see if they sold different shaped lamp shades to which they said “no” but I do think they should consider it for those of us who would switch up the look.
