I have a number of these type lights ordered to install and review as I have a large property with very large entrance and parking area I want to light up like a car dealership lot. So, until all installed I first have to unbox, inspect, recharge, and test. Here is my bench testing on this light.
This JOYEYE Solar Street Light is a Low to medium sized light with LED 800 watts light. It also has a larger sized solar panel array (21 in x 26.4 in) thats large enough to grab a lot of light during the day for this sized light stating continuous lighting for 14 hours when fully charged. And with this model light you can adjust the solar panel more to assure best position per your location to grab as much sunlight as possible as compared to some other static panels.
The Waterproof light fixture itself is relatively lite for its size and has a metal tube between itself and the mounting plate which offsets the light from the building or pole you will mount it to at a slight upwards angle which is good for snow and rain to slide off. It puts out a rated 50000 LM output which is very bright with no way of testing what the actual intensity really is. The light temperature is of daylight 6500 K and this does activate by motion sensor (within its dusk to dawn range) which is my main concern and has a remote control to help change modes.
I’m not crazy about the remote control and seldom use them once the unit is set up initially to leave at those settings. With after dark motion sensing you get an always on of low brightness light (but does not state what percent 10,20,30%) during night hours until triggered by motion which brings it up to 100 percent lighting, then back down to low brightness after 20 seconds of no motion.
This is one of my smaller solar lights received and seems to be a good light as I can see from this point. This seems more suitable for lower lighting of sheds, barns, building walls, and limited parking or walk areas.
