I purchased this product last year and was very satisfied. This year I am adding a Christmas tree (I won’t say mega tree because it will be about 8 feet tall). I just received the product and when I opened the box the lights are unlike those previously purchased. First the strings are in sets of 100 instead of 50 pixels. The wires are all black instead the tri-color displayed in the ad (hey getting older, made it a lot easier to know quickly which wire went where). The previous sets had a tag indicating where the “beginning” of the string was, this set nothing. I planned to use one 50 string for each “branch” of the tree and thought since I re-ordered these the product would be the same. Can I work with these changes, yes, but this is not the same product I ordered previously. I will no longer order pixel strings without knowing how many lights are in each string.

I bought 4 sets of these lights, and 1 set looks like they used glue with a blue hue to fill the pixels. The other 3 are clear. I haven’t tested the LED lights to see if it results in slightly different color or not. I will update once I test them.
